First see if your filter is clean. If it is check the brushes on your motor, there are 2. If they are worn out change them. If they are somewhat okay clean them & refit. (google re. motor brushes) Caution all electric connections should be 'off' first, plug off the wall. For spins your motor requires more power hence healthier with a good pair of brushes.
