Riello burner needs reset to start?

Can the amount of time the Riello 40 F5 burner pumps the oil before ignition attempted be increased? We have an in ground oil tank which needs a while longer to get the oil to the pump. Because of this burner does not fire and the reset button needs to be pressed to start it. This only happens if air temp is not too cold and the burner is off for several hours. This way the oil has slowly gone done in the pipe.

Fit a Non Return Valve in the Suction Line, with the Arrow on the Valve pointing towards the Burner, this way the oil should not fall back to the tank!
