when i press the blue OK icon nothing happens ie it stays on map update notice. ive tried holding the button to the left for eight seconds but again nothing happens.also i cant turn the unit off when its plugged in.

anyone got this problem to take the unit to factory settings, turn power off,dont connect it to anything. use your finger or pencil with a rubber end,press down gently the bottom end of right hand side of the screen, dont press toohard while you are holding it down turn on swith to power the unit.the unit will start to boot will ask whether you want to delete all ur saved items say yes, this will load all ur maps,once its done you can connect to computer to reload ur info.
