What fuel mix is required for my 2 stroke Mountfield SP474 mower?

I have recently been given a Mountfield 2 stoke SP474 mower with no manual. Can you advise athe correct fuel mix ? where can i get an owners manual

Correct. Forgot about the Suzuki engine - not a papular model. But the SP474 definitely is not a 2-stroke.

...actually Mountfield have produced several models with 2-stroke engines fitted. One in particular was the Monarch that had the Suzuki MX120 2-stroke engine fitted as standard. Although these haven't been produced for some years.

Mountfield never made a 2 stroke mower. The SP474 should be fitted with a Briggs & Stratton or a Tecumseh 4 stroke or some sort - exact model will depend on date of manufacture (unless the engine has been replaced at some).

Put standard unleaded in the tank, and SAE30 oil in the engine sump.
