my fridge is not getting cold?

i have a hotpoint fridge the light comes on but my fridge no longer gets cold how can i fix it?

There are any number of problems that can cause it not to cool. You need to give a little more info. Are there any fan motors running? Does the compressor seem to be running? Is it totally warm inside? is there any frost buildup showing on any surface in the freezer? etc.
