my Indiset W113 washing machine makes a banging/rattling noise when the drum is revolved.
Could it be the bearings in the drum and how do I separate the outer and inner drum? Also , how do I remove the seals?

We had exactly the same problem, had an engineer in as warrenty had expired 2 weeks earlier! Problem was not bearings - bolts holding down the weight on top of drum had become bit loose.

Worth checking first - simply hadn't occurred to me. Hope this saves someone what it cost us!

sounds like bearings to be honest its not worth doing as indesit machines only cost from £150 and to fit bearings will cost £100+
