Zanussi ZDW1271W leaks when washing and E10 when drying?

Three-year old washer dryer starts to leak immediately when on a wash cycle... the water underneath the machine contains quite a bit of fluff which is confusing as that would suggest it's drain water.

Also it won't dry. After a couple of minutes it fails with the E10 error code.

The drain outlet/hose on the bottom front of the machine looks clean.

The common explanation for this seems to be the input solenoid, but would that explain the 'fluffy' water leaking out?

thanks in advance

E10 is a filling error code and usually means that the coil on the inlet valve has failed open circuit.this code can also come up if the machine doesn't fill to a level within a set time.sounds like you have a leak from somewhere.you will need to find where this is coming from
