is it possible to change an autom atic gearbox in a renault espace 2l petrol to a manual if its possible how much work is involved

In the main I would say it's not worth it The main parts Gearbox - new gearlever- wiring loom - clutch pedal /system-flywheel to replace torque converter-- the list goes on. Then you have the labour content.
Although you dont say how old the vehicle is my guess is that it would be cheaper to sell it and replace it with a manual version.
