Yes it can, The cable shouldnt have dc voltage on it because door contacts do not require voltage. So all you need to do is connect colour to colour or red to red, yellow to yellow, etc put into terminal block and you should be able to reset the alarm. You must re-contact the door by the way. A lot of engineers drill into the UPVC which voids your warranty, to secure the contact. There are other ways eg glue, but i prefer another way which i wont go into, as its my secret. Sorry.
