Iveco 75E15 braking system not building pressure ?

I have just bought a 75E15 Iveco truck, the braking system was fine and working, but after getting her home I noticed there was a 3rd bottle on top of the pressure tanks that was empty, it looked like it had been empty for year. Antifreeze was listed on the bottles lid and inside was a lot of dry limescale, which would tie in with there being water in there, so I added 50 parts water and 50 parts antifreexe. Thing is ever since then my braking system want build pressure past 4bar and the emergency needle doesnt build at all ?

Does anyone know what I have done or why my Iveco braking system is now not pressurising ?

got a erostar550 maxi brakes slow to come off on traler side

replace airdryer cartridge as that could be full of moisture caused by you filling air system with water

not sure what problems it could cause, but antifreeze is a lot thicker than methanol and it could cause valves to stick in multi circuit protection valve, i take it you have only got this problem since you added a/f to system?if not have you checked for air leaks, check flexi hose from comp to chassis, also have a listen at air intake for air leak from comp inlet valve, also one way valve on comp pressure pipe may be faulty!

Thanks, but why would this stop the braking system from pressurising ?

This bottle was empty and if the valve is at fault, then would it matter that I filled it up now ?

bottle is for air brake antifreeze [methanol] and not for cooling system anti-freeze! would suspect that multi circuit protection valve is at fault and will poss need replacing.
