ford focus overheating problem?

ford focus overheating .fan running all the time,water coming back bubbleing inthe expanision tank .03 model

Just had new cambelt fitted and water pump and now the engine is over heating

les is this a petrol or diesel car assuming it is a petrol check the bottom hose gets hot if it doesent and the rest of the coolant pipes are hot change the thermostat. its in the plastic housing under the alternator held on with 4 /8mm headed bolts take note of which way up the thermostat is oriented and before you fit the new one drill a 3.5mm hole in the thermostat outer surround at the topside this allows the air to bleed through and stops the water pump from cavitating also it is best to fit a genuine ford themostat hope this helps .pete
