hoover reverse six making strange noise?

i have been given a hoover reverse six tumble dryer but it makes a strange noise when it turns one way they person who give it me said it might be the bearings? but i have been told that tumble dryers dont have bearings they have bushes? can anyone help?

yeah ok thanks. coukd it be that then making the noise if they are on there way out?

They have metal bearings at the rear of the drum and bearing pads at the front.
