Why does my Creda Reverse Air+ Tumble dryer trip out the electrics?

I have recently moved house and have had to place my tumble dryer in the garage. It worked fine when in the house when wired in and using the rear vent but it now seems that after a few minutes working in the garage it suddenly trips out the electrical circuit. It in now just wired up using a normal plug and extension lead. When it does work the main circuit borad in the house makes a very faint buzzing noise. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

u not meant to run these off an extension lead as not if safe enough for currant which can trip rcd also could be a heater fault or just full of fluff
