citroen c5 2001 brake light?

the third brake light mounted on the rear window does not work,all bulbs are fine but there is no power getting to the unit (tested with tester) can anyone tell me where the power comes from?

thanks bob,
tracked it to a broken wire through the talegate,wire seemed trapped so thinking mabye a new screen was fitted and pinched the wire,anyway replaced the wire and all working well thanks.

it could be the brake light switch which is mounted above the pedal there are 2 one for the high level one for the low level if not it will probably be a broken wire where it passes through the body into the taillift [quite common] best way to test is remove gromet and seperate wires pull each one lightly if any are broken the outer sheath will stretch at the point of the break hope this helps
