ALS? Aquasave Zanussi Des 959?

My parents have a Aquasave Zanussi Des 959 which has stopped working on the control panel it says 'ALS', unfortunately they have lost their manual, could any body tell me what ALS means?

if its al5 ? then that means the machine does not fill with water so you may need to clean the filters.
