fluff blockage somewhere has taken stats out .... clean and defluff unit including heat exchanger.... order and replace thermostat kit situated just above heater .. this should do the trick for you unless heater has been broken whichyou will see when you remove back panel ... ALWAYS UNPLUG FROM MAINS BEFORE TAMPERING ....
