The dry fire thermostat tripped a few times over the last week. I replaced the thermostat but after a day or two the new stat tripped. what can be the problem as the pump is running and there is water in the system.

Difficult to diagnose from distance, problem could be due to inadequate flow rate in system. If the system has had a suitable inhibitor added (during it's whole life)
then the pump may be suspect, or some obstruction to free water flow has occurred.
