Freezer section frosting up?

Our RS21DCNS has started to frost up in the freezer compartment. The temperature reading on the front of the freezer has disappeared. The fridge is still running (at present) but the whole unit doesn't appear to be making any noise. Is this a fixable problem, or is it a new fridge/freezer?
