Hi,

When my Mondeo is in drive, it appears to be stuck in third gear. I find it is difficult to drive off at first and when moving does not change gear. I also find that it doesn't change down to a lower gear when going uphill. Gear select, one and two appears to be working fine.

Any advice? Thanks

could be the clutch or might be fluid if low on fluid top up start engine.move gear leaver up and down into every gear do this 5 to 6 times to circulate fluid.
