How do i get into my Hoover Commodore 5kg Washing machine?

I think a mouse has been caught behind the barrel of the washing machine- can i get the cover off to look for it? If so- how?

the lid comes off easy if that what u mean if on about door lock u can get to it down the front past the timer unplug 1st as timer is live!!!
