hotpoint aquarius 1200 wm34?

I removed motor to change bushes, motor works fine now,
but door will not open, how dose the cable from the motor to the door lock work?

its on a pecker kit (white plastic) that needs to be adjusted slightly so the end of the pecker hits onto the belt on the motor which will then allow to open the door
