Ford Galaxy. W reg. How do I remove the passenger window assembly with window stuck down?

What are main causes of window electrically would go down but not up? now fully down! and will not go up or down - slight clicking can be heard when press down switch - but nothing on pessing up switch

if i remember, on those you need to get a new door wind mech, its got a cable which frays causing the problem. the motor is usally fine.
