How do I fix my Zanussi FJS 1425W?

I keep getting error code E10, sometimes four or five times during a cycle. One press of the start / pause button allows the wash to continue. Other times it runs from start to finish uninterrupted.
I've checked the inlet hose and filter and can find nothing. Any suggestions?

e10 is a water fill time out.machine not at correct water level within a set time.check good water pressure by opening the soap draw and looking at the water coming in.this should have plenty of pressure.the common one for this code is the washing machine waste pipe pushed to far down the house waste pipe causing a syphoning effect that empties the water from the machine whilst it is working.make sure there is an air gap between the end of the drain pipe hose and the water in the u trap at the bottom.about 12inches of drain pipe down the house waste pipe is ample.could also be a faulty inlet valve or connection to it.
