Hi there, my Neff B1641 oven keeps causing the rcd unit to blow. Any ideas?

Hi there. My B1641 oven keeps causing the rcd unit to blow in the house. It doesn't blow as soon as the oven is switched on, but after a few minutes of it working. The oven appears to be working fine until the power blows. Could the element be the problem?? Thanks - fed up of living on take outs!!!

It wouldn't be tripping the RCD for no reason. It is telling you something is seriously wrong. To keep resetting it just to watch it trip again is foolish and a waste of time. Get a service person in to track down the cause of the fault. It is too dangerous for a person with no experience to try and repair it themselves.

The insulation value on a heating element could be the cause of this.you need a test meter to test this really or you could disconnect each element in turn and see what happens
