When power to the fridge is switched off and then switched on again the fridge runs until it reaches the set temperature and the thermostat cuts off. The fridge will not switch on again. It starts defrosting. Could this be the thermostat not working or the computer?

sounds like the thermostat i would get that changed first. not expensive you can probebly get it changed for 20-30 pounds
