AEG Dishwasher - Sludge in water inlet matrix - how to clean?

Model: AEG OKO Favorit 5040 dishwasher
Question: How should I clean sludge or fats from water inlet matrix?.

Recently our AEG dishwasher has stopped emptying. Happened last a few years ago.

fix worked then but not this time.

I have removed the top and right hand side panel.

Main Pump - I can see the main pump mother is spinning and the water circulates so that looks ok.

Small Pump - As this is on the outlet hose I am now planning to remove it to test/replace.

I have two questions.

1st Question (Also posted separately)

Any suggestions on how best to remove and test the pump?.

2nd Question (this post)
As I had the machine out and opened I also removed the left side panel.

I can see sludge fat deposits near the bottom of what I think is called the water inlet matrix.

Does anyone know if and how I should clean this?

Many Thanks

you need to replace the air break chamber once they get blocked with sludge.this will cause overfilling, water in the base and possible no drain
