My Candy CMD146 washer/dryer won't drain/spin?

My Candy CMD146 washer/dryer gets to a certain point on the 40 cycle then stops. No drain, rinse, condition or spin? I have to change to drain cycle, wait, then spin, wait. Washing is still full of powder. Help! Machine is 2 years old, and very good until now.

I have tried to remove filter but it will not come out. The white twist dial just comes off on its own, and there is no way to get the filter out?

Try taking the panel of at the front floor level . On the left is a fillter you need to use a small pozi driver to slaken the screw in the cap that will relese the fillter cap so you can turn anti clock wise and remove it . there may be a build up of rubish stoping the pump. This will once re fited make things work
