Our 8 year old tumble dryer has worked faultlessly until now. It has just started making a ratcheting noise when the drum changes direction. (It is a reverse action model.) We are wondering what is wrong and whether it is worth fixing or not, given the age of the machine.Any ideas on the cost of fixing gratefully received. Thanks!
