Peugeot 406 lx 1.8 16 valve(registered July 2004)?

Warning light is illuminated and shows continuously and read out when engines starts states ANTIPOLLUTION FAULT. Is this something that needs attention quickly and what does it mean.

open the bonnet and look just underneath where your wipers are and you should find a filter which slides out this this could be blocked ?

It means the ecu has identified something which could damage the Catalyst, you should get it looked at by a Peugeot dealer.
