My telephone works ok but the extra handset doen't work at all even though the signal is good and the battery is fully charged. I was going to go back to the default settings but the manual doesn't tell me how to do this.
Thank you Ron. I disconnected the telephone, took out the batteries from the main phone and the 2nd handset, then connected them up again and they now both work.

Try removing the battery from the phone. It should clear the memory abd restore the factory settings when powered back up
