Has anyone tried this it sounds too good to be true. only I have a 50cc trekker which I want to restore with my 15 yr old son but this has been damaged through hot wireing. this alternative to pig u orginal sounds great.

peugeot speedfight problem can be overcome by removing the imobiliser/cdi box and replaceing it with a yamaha pw 50 cdi unit this is quite a comon cdi unit wich is fitted to most small yamahas eg rxs 100 up to their newest scooter range allso found in childs quads like the smc ram 100 and unili 100 or the 50s it dosent matter although when purchased from these manufacterers these units cost around 30 quid they have 5 wires black=coilearth orange=coillive red/white=pickup black/red=flywheelcoils and black/white killswitch ignition cut of can no longer be used a switch may be fitted under the seat the pick up wires colours are blue/yellow this will only work on pre 2000 models that have a gf4 flyweel later speedfight 2s incorporate a gf10 flyweel these have no black/red wire but parts are interchangable i have safly carried this mod out numerous times and it works a treat as oposed to the extorsionist price and unreliability of the genuine parts so give it a go and see for ur self

couldnt agree more alec what a newbie d is ,anyway you can sort of bypass the immo its just a headache and you need a wiring loom and cdi from an early unchipped version
