How Do I Repair A Rear Suspension Arm on a Peugeot 206?

My Dad wants to repair the above. He would like to know if it is cheaper to repair the arm or replace it with a Sub frame? Also what the easiest and quickest way is of doing this?

quite an involved job fitting new bushes and bearings to arm as everything is usually rusted up. probably better off fitting good secondhand back axle. a lot of work but easier than messing around with corroded torsion bars, knackered shockers, rounded nuts, and seized on bearings. its a big job so may be easier taking it to garage unless he has lots of tools and equipment.
