can I jump start a motorbike?

Is it possible to jumpstart a motorbike whose battery has gone flat?

a batterty jump should be ok but care should be taken using a charger/booster unit on some modern bikes/scooters as the cdi/immobleser units are tentamental you are betteroff taking battery out of bike and doing stand alone

Yes in the same way as you would a car. Red lead to the Poss + terminal on the car and bike battery and black cable from the neg - terminal on the car battery to a good earth on the bike. Not the - pole on the battery
