power went off and I can't get the timer set which means I can't get oven on - any suggestions?

If you have 5 buttons(1 to 5 from left to right) instructions in manual are _ Hold buttons 2 and 3 in then press Button 5 (+button) This would not work on miy Zanussi _ Eventually I got it to work by pressing buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously on and off till the 00.00 stopped flashing then I pressed button 5 and it worked _ wasted hours on it GOOD LUCK!!!

Fiddled with buttons and got the oven to work eventually! I had accidentally set the oven to come on at a certain time and go off at a certain time. All I needed to do is change the times for these to 0.00 to get the oven to work again. You push centre button till the flashing mark is next to the timer or clock or oven symbol as required, use + or - to set time. The flashing will stop after a few seconds and time will be set.
