not sure on this model but generally the settings on most machines are - turn the settings all the way in and then open up by 1 - 1.5 turns and then adjust with the unit running. L - adjust for max idle speed - adjust tickover adjustment so the chain doesnt turn and even tickover and adjust H for fast speed but just burbling/faltering (slightly rich) - protects your engine and gives more power.
