We have a KitchenAid Washer, Model KAWE578BAC1. The agitator works fine, the water drains but the spin won't start unless you turn the power off then on. You have to do this on the rinse spin and the final spin. I can lift and close the lid, or unplug it, then plug it back in. Help!

Hello,

Perhaps the timer is not pausing to shift the washer from agitate to spin. By you lifting the lid you are causing the pause the washer needs to shift into the spin mode.
