No heat on White Knight CL 432 tumble dryer?

I don't have an instruction manual for While Knight CL 432 and am trying to troubleshoot as to why we don't have any heat. I have checked the red button "cut out" at the rear and it appears pushed in so assume that is ok. What should I try next?

there is 3 stats and a heating element on this appliance.one of the stats could be open circuit or the element might of blown and also be open circuit.all easy to test with a multimeter
