I have a eager 1. 5.5 hp craftsman lawn mower.
Engine runs fine but oil leaks from the top of the engine.
This just started this year.
No other leaks.
Should I just buy another one as this thing is 15 years old.???.

I have a simular problem with the 6.5 engine.
For me I found the oil to be coming from where the dipstick pipe connects to the engine. The rubber seal gasket gets pinched when I put the pipe back in to quickly and not carefully. So get oil all over so it looks like it was coming from the top of the engine.
