How can i fix my Ford KA?

im having continual problems from my Ka after a recent crash. There have been many faults, ka heater, water, gear box etc i now have a problem which keeps reoccuring. When i start the engine it makes a sort of pumping noise as if its struggling without even moving the car, then when i drive, it feels as if it has no energy it has no acceleration and keeps making a pumping feeling/noise. This occured before and i changed the spark plugs and the probelm went away but ive changed them and nothing seems to be working.???? Please help

Hello, By what you are saying it sounds like a misfire.
You were right to try the spark plugs first.
Have you got the spark plug leads on the correct way (the correct firing order).
Then it could be the coil pack. There is a routine for checking this if you want data and diagrams email me.
It could also be the MAF sensor
or Injectors.
HOS sensor
or the ECM
all the above could cause the problem and the only way is to check them all until the problem has been found.
It is good practice however to start with the most obvious first.
