please can you tell me when i need to change my cam belt on my focus how many miles do i have to do before a replacement is due

In the haynes manual 78,000,but ford say longer.No idea how longer.So 78,000 to be safe.This is for 02 model tcdi 1.8 dura torque engine, hope this helps.
