I removed a kitchen unit door and unfortunately dropped it, resulting in a portion of the vinyl chipping off a corner.

I have the piece of vinyl which came off (approximately 1.5 cm covering the corner).

Is there a way to reattach it and also to make the underlying MDF waterproof?
