Servicing book - part 2 - FAO John?

Thanks for answering my question - do you know where this info might be printed on the web or where i could get hold of it?

no, it wasn't Renault who supposedly did the service, but was hoping for them to help me out with a bits of info!! It was another dealer

Prepare for a whole load of smooth talking nonsense...you'll find that the service was probably done 'in accordance with Renault recommendations' - heard it all before! Thanks for the replies and good luck. Cheers John

thanks for the info - i'm off to Renault tomorrow to ask for a copy of the guidelines for servicing stamping !

Kelly, March 2009
Maybe I should have added.....its really important that the servicing is actually done, rather than the book being stamped. (knowing a few shady characters who have bogus stamps). Its only when you trade the car in that the buyer says 'full service history?' as he tries to reduce the cars value by a further 15%....best to keep receipts of all parts that have been supplied and fitted, together with any old MOT certificates. Cheers John
