where is the fuse for the vdo radio on a 2000 vauxhall vectra SRI?

i had the radio out to plug in my dvd player, and arced the wire cutters on the radio cradle, now my radio won't work, and there is no display, is there a glass fuse at the back of the radio, or is there a fuse in the main fuse box?

Hmm this is weird. There must be a fuse near the power connector on the radio.its usually orange and its on its side.

This is wat it should look like from the back.Excuse the diagram lol but thats a basic layout of what should be on the back.If you still cant find anything right have a look at the master fuse unit. Hope this helps

i looked on the back of the radio, but theres nothing there, i just wondered if it might be further down, but theres definately nothing behind the head unit, its a vdo400, never seen one myself, so its quite new to me!

yes there is one on the back of the radio near the power connectors. And there is one in the main fuse box.Try the one on the radio first before you go to the main.
