When my engine gets warm, it makes a very loud tapping sound, it has just last week had a service but as the car was cold they didnt do anything to help the tapping. So it's had new oil etc, but still the tapping continues.. any suggestions as to what it could be?

Depending on which car it is, it could be as simple as adjusting the valve clearances....oil that is too thin may have a similar effect.
