The water container (top) in my SF31 is not collecting water it appears to be collecting at the bottom of the machine, I have taken it appart and cleaned inside all appears to be ok, the only thing it maybe is the pump?? Anyone got any idea??

Mine is exactly the same. I've stripped it down and there is a small water pump that has burnt out. I think what happens is that everything inside gets covered in thick fluff. This can then get damp and it causes arcing across the electrical contacts and corrosion.

You need to be electrically competent to replace this part. PS Does your condenser assembly keep fluffing up?
