andy, if the tub assy is getting hot you will probably find that the plastic condenser at the back of the appliance is blocked between the condenser opening and the filter,this is located at the rear rhs.you have to remove condenser,clean,also clean filter at back.also remember when drying keep dry loads under 2.1kg.
