passenger airbag fault in automatic peugeot 206 GLX?

The car is 2002 and only has 56,000 on the clock but there are days where i struggle to get the engine to turn over and it results in the passenger airbag deactivating. Once the car is warmed up and i re-start the engine the airbag corrects itself.....anybody any suggestions as to whats going on?

a low voltage from your battery will create operating problems in your airbag system. not just airbag system that will have problems when voltage is low, engine ecu, bsi, abs ecu, will all function incorrectly as the supply voltage is too low. you need to check and/or replace battery and check alternator is operating correctly and check battery cables and earths, to stop this happening.
