car very thirsty?

hi i have a porche boxer and i put 5 pound petrol in but only getting about 20 miles on a good run any help please

hi john tried what you suggested but not mch better about 21 to the gallon. maybe need a porche deisel can you recomend one thanks james

£5 petrol = 1 gallon so 20mpg is what I would expect!!!

Take your right foot off the accelerator pedal you obviously got a heavy right foot!!!

Just for a start, replace the air filter and spark plugs - these are the main items that affect fuel consumption. You need to make sure that the brakes aren't binding, too, and that tyre pressures are correct.
