I have a T-Fal deep fat fryer that just stopped heating?

My T-Fal Magiclean Deep Fryer just quit heating out of the clear blue. Has anyone else had this problem and short of throwing it away or taking it somewhere for service is there some way to repair it?

I have the same problem with my t-Fal deep fryer.I read somewhere online that there's a micro switch on the heater unit First try reset button and if that doesn't work they said connect the 2 wires bypassing the micro switch.
