my zafira 03 had same problem,left it alone for 4months as it still drove,in the end it got worse driving normal then losing power,all of a sudden the car cut out and wouldnt start,turned the key tryed to start but in wouldnt fire up,towed to garage and was told it was wiring harness that had a short in it
